The Triboro
An amazing TV Pilot I found browsing vimeo..definitely worth checking out. I do suggest fast-forwarding through the 50 second to the 1:10 mark if you’re not a fan of vomit. They seem to over do it in the beginning. Some of it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense though I’m assuming they will explain more if the story continues. We’ll see if this episode ever becomes anything!

This is a short form TV pilot for an episodic one hour dramatic series. The series is about a group of youth in The Triboro (Olympus, Black Mountain, & White Valley) that join forces and stand up to the ring of corruption that has taken control of their towns. It is a suspenseful, noir, epic, not neglecting all the teenage stuff that keeps things honest.
The first episode “Trouble in Boro Olympus” is the introduction to this complex tale.
Grant Masterson (Michael Scott King) and Alex Jones (Matthew McGorry) are raking in cash selling cups to their peers at a huge house party. When a drunk friend and a beer cup deficiency pull them away from the festivities, Grant and Alex find their vision of Olympus changed forever.
Shot on 35m film on location in Haskell, Ringwood, and Wanaque, NJ.
Winner of “Best Director” at the New York Television Festival 2008.
