If you haven’t been able to keep an eye on the tropics of the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico then here is a good insight of what is happening now and what to expect in the next week or so. I made sure to cover all I can of Gustav and Hanna, plus the two new storms Ike and Josephine.
     If you’re located on the Atlantic coastline then you need to keep an eye on Hanna and Josephine. Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean, South Florida, be sure to watch Ike as it heads due west towards us.

Can you believe it? In a few hours Hurricane Gustav will become a category five hurricane as it enters the Gulf of Mexico. There isn’t much to say about this one so I’ll keep it short and to the point. Let’s start simple with Wunderground’s track.

Gustav is still on it’s direct path to somewhere in Louisiana. As of now it looks like New Orleans will be clear of the eye but that’s no need to celebrate. The Northeast section of any storm is the worst part so for Gustav to head in south of Baton Rouge or even close to Lake Charles, then N.O. / Metairie will see some of the worst.
